Signs of the End Times:

Current World Events - Falling in place with Bible Prophecy.

 

A study of recent happenings in the world must first start with Israel. For what is referred to as end time prophecy to be taken literally the Jews had to return to their God given land from the nations they had scattered out to from the 70 a.d. destruction by the Romans, there had to be a nation of Israel and the Jews had to have control of Jerusalem for the statements, prophecies of the Old Testament, Revelation and of Jesus to be literal. Well, the Jews have returned to their God given land. We see this foretold in Ezekiel 36:1–24. Israel is a nation again and they have control of Jerusalem. May of 1948 Israel became a nation again fulfilling the word of Isaiah,

 

Isa. 66: 8 Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.

 

Israel became a nation again the moment the U.N. declared it. And they have taken control of Jerusalem. In June of 1967 in what has become known as the 6 day war, all the surrounding Islamic nations were about to attack Israel so Israel made a preemptive strike. Israel being greatly out number defeated them and took control of Jerusalem. Who does it look like the God of Abraham helped?

 

Prophecies in the O.T., in the Gospels and in the book of Revelation refer to there being a Temple in Jerusalem at the time of Jesus’ 2nd coming. There has to be a Temple for the abomination of desolation that Jesus referred to in Mt. 24 to occur. Well, the Jews already have laid out the plans for rebuilding the Temple. They already have all Temple furniture, the priestly garments, they have already made all the Temple vessels, everything required for the priestly duties. There needs to be men to be Priest’s from the line of Aron to make the animal sacrifices. Well, they have identified men from the tribe of Levi, of line of Aron to be priests and are training them. Only men from the tribe of Levi were allowed to be Priests. And they have even already chosen the High Priest. They can rebuild the Temple now. From archeological findings etc. they have discovered actually where the Temple stood. It wasn’t where the muslim dome of the rock is located which fulfills what we see in Rev. 11. With this we can see another event that will fulfill Bible prophecy.

 

Fascinating statement in Rev. 11,

 

Rev. 11: 1 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months.

 

John was told to measure the Temple with its worshipers but to exclude the outer court for it had been given to the Gentiles. … Where do you think the dome of the rock is, in the outer court. Now that’s amazing. In Daniel 9 we see the rebuilding of the Temple will be part of the covenant peace agreement with Israel, the anti-Christ and the Islamic nations. The rebuilding the Temple could be what will bring about a peace agreement. We see from Daniel 9 that there will be a 7 year so called peace agreement concerning the land of Israel. These 7 years will turn out to be the 7 years of the Tribulation.

 

The alignment of nations.

 

We see in Ez. 38 & 39 the naming of nations that will be allies with Russia, Magog. Since the fulfillment of what is described in Ez. 38 & 39 cannot be found in history, it is obvious Ezekiel was addressing what we see forming in the world today. We see Iran(Persia), the name was changed to Iran in 1935, and Russia will lead a collation of nations of which most are Islamic in an invasion of Israel. The land that is now Turkey is also mentioned coming with Magog. It’s only been in like the last 10 years or so that Russia and Iran have become allies and just in recent years that Turkey has. Russia is also becoming allies with most of the other Islamic nations. We see in Ez. 38, 8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, … Israel was left desolate after the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple by the Romans in 70 a.d. The land was desolate until the Jews started returning in the early 1900’s. No one lived in the land. There were hardly any trees throughout the land. The Jews have been gathered back to the land of Israel from all the nations of the world. Israel has recovered from war, from the Holocaust of WWII. Russia has also become allies with China. After being defeated in the invasion of Israel, Russia and China will team up together and come against the anti-Christ and his armies in the valley of Megiddo at the last battle of Armageddon. We see this in Daniel 11 and in Revelation, Kings of the East. We see in Revelation that the Euphrates River will be dried up allowing the Kings of the East, China and the other Asian countries to come into the Middle East to attack the anti-Christ there. China could be pulled into this because of its ties with Russia. Again, China and Russia are allies today and this has only happened in recent years. But China has been saying they want to control the whole world. It could turn out that China will see its opportunity and make their move. While the drying up of the Euphrates River could be done supernaturally by God or by a nuclear bomb, it can be done easily today. In Turkey there is a dam called the Atatuak Dam that can be closed thus causing the river to be dried up. The Euphrates River is what separates the east from the west. China already has a highway to be used for military purposes that leads from China to the Middle East. In Rev. 9 John said, 16The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number. … An interesting fact about this verse is that during the time John was witnessing all this and writing it down, there wasn’t 200 million people in the whole known world. John said he heard their number. Because of China’s one child policy and selective births, aborting the girl babies, China has more than a 14 to 1 boy to girl ratio. There’s not enough females for the males to marry which has caused a large majority of boys and men to join the military. Because of this China alone could have a 200 million manned army. Boy, the prophecies of the Bible are really precise.

 

We also see in Psalm 83 and invasion by the Islamic nations that surround Israel, that have a common border with Israel. This could be ‘the many nations with you’ from Ezekiel or it could be another invasion all together. In Pslam 83 we also see what the so called Palestinians and Islamic nations are saying, 4“Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.” … By the way, there was never a Palestinian people or nation. The Romans referred to all the Middle East as Palestine. Today’s “Palestinians” are actually Jordanians.

 

Now here is an amazing statement, prophecy by Joel, 3: 2 I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land. … The Valley of Jehoshaphat is the valley of Meggido where the last battle of Armageddon will be fought. Again, we see this referred to in Daniel and in Revelation. After almost 1900 years the people of Israel have returned to the land of Israel from being scattered out among the nations by the Roman destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem and now there’s a nation of Israel. But what we now here talked about and being called for by all the nations of the world is they want to, “divide up my land”. That’s what the peace agreement will be about. Dividing Jerusalem and the Temple mount. They think this will bring peace to the Middle East. The coming judgment of the Tribulation is because of, “what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel” and because they, “divided up my land”.

Open Borders, the New World Order. Socialism. 

 

One of the prophecies you can read or hear in the news today is the constant talk about open borders, Globalization, about a one world socialist government, the New World Order with one man to be the head. Daniel and Revelation tell us that there will indeed be a one world government, the 10 toes of the statue from Daniel chapter 2 and the 10 horns from Daniel chapter 7 and Revelation chapters 12, 13 and 17. We also see from Rev. 13 that there will be a false prophet and a one world religion. I hate to say it, but Pope Francis is working towards both, calling for a one world government and a global religion. He’s saying that all religions lead to heaven. But he’s not the only one saying this.

Great earthquakes, famines and pestilences.

 

With describing the condition the world would be in before his 2nd coming, Jesus said, Mt. 24: 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places and in Luke 21 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. … We already have more sickness and decease than ever before. The weather patterns even seem to be affected. We’ve had more earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, tsunamis etc. in the last 50 years than any time in history. And they’ve been more severe. In Mt. 24 Jesus said, 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. It sure does look like we are in the beginning of the birth pains. If this is not the birth pains, well, it’s at least Braxton hicks.

Increase in knowledge. The understanding of Bible Prophecy.

 

In Daniel 12 he is told, 4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.” And .. 9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. … We can now easily travel all over the world. Because of the internet knowledge can be increased very quickly. … In Rev. 22 John was told, 10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” …. Because of modern technology and current world events from the last 100 years the words of the prophets are becoming clear, the wise are beginning to understand. We see in Rev. ch. 5 Jesus opening the seals of this scroll thus releasing the judgments contained in the scroll. The people living during the Tribulation and reading the Bible will certainly understand. The words of the scroll will really be clear. They will be witnessing them.

 

We can now see so many other statements from Jesus and the Prophets occurring literally right before our very eyes. As I’ve said before, if all the prophecies of Jesus’ first coming came true literally then we should expect all the prophecies leading up to his second coming to come true literally also. Well, that is exactly what we are seeing. … None of this took place or was even possible in the first century. None of it was possible until the Jews were back in the land given them by God the Father.

 

Jesus said, Mt. 24: 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. .. Like no other time in history, we’re beginning to see all these things happening simultaneously, at the same time, just like Jesus said they would. The signs are now converging together. With the way everything in the world is falling into place with Bible prophecy it makes you wonder, could it all be about to unfold? Could it actually be now, in our lifetime? Could the catching up of believers in Christ be closer than we actually think?

 

It’s more important now than ever that All believers should know what the Bible teaches and to be aware of what is happening in the world today. For Our Time is Short.
